Bracelets

Who doesn't love a toilet paper roll anklet/bracelet? Just cut the roll from top to bottom, then in whatever widths you want and cover with stickers or whatever. Give them lots of ribbons, pompoms, glitter, paint, etc., .

Tye Dye

I was told that if you take the bingo dobbers and do dots all over the a coffee filter and then put them in water and rub together it will make a tye dyed print and you can make flowers out of it.. This was our attempt!! :(

I had ended up not being the right dobbers (they were paint) so when we put them in water it ran everywhere and washed off of the coffee filter!! oops!! but it was fun!! :)

Shaving Cream

As long as DC doesn't try to eat it (although it is non-toxic) spray a pile of shaving cream onto the table for them to play with.

Popsicle Sticks

Let DC decorate popsicle sticks with art materials and form into a photo frame. You can glue a picture of him in it or a picture he made.

Glue Work

Glue….let your DC glue "treasures" she found outside, cut up paper or torn paper, etc to paper. You can even cut, from construction paper, flower pieces and let her glue a flower together on paper, an animal, etc.

Wind Sock

Wind Sock…..take a piece of construction paper and let DC decorate it with anything he would like. i.e. crayons, glittler, etc. Then staple the two ends together of the paper and attach streamers to the bottom.

Colored Sand

Buy Colored sand in the craft section at Walmart or go to a Craft store. Let your DC (by using a glue stick, a q-tip with some glue on it, a glue bottle, or by finger painting glue) spread glue all over a piece of paper. Then using empty spice containers, fill the containers with the colored sand and let DC sprinkle the sand all over the paper.

Spray Bottle Paint

Give DC a spray bottle with water and a few drops of paint or food coloring. Let him "spray paint" outside, paper, snow, etc.

Bubble Painting

Put some food coloring into bubbles and have DC help blow bubbles onto white paper for some bubble art.

Crayons

Color with crayons. You can even make your own big crayons by taking the paper off of crayons and putting crayon pieces into cupcake tins. Place in the oven at about 300-350 degrees until crayon pieces melt. Then take out and let harden and cool. You can make rainbow crayons (by putting a variety of colors in the cupcake tin) or you can make same colored crayons.

Finger Painting

Finger painting- you can finger paint with anything (washable/non toxic paint, chocolate pudding, oatmeal, jell-o mixture, etc). obviously the food paintings won't last like paint, but DC will still have fun.

Foam Stickers

(this is a bookmark Bentlie had to show off on the frig)
Foam stickers are great. You can buy shapes and have DC stick different sizes and colors of circles onto a big circle you cut out of paper and the same with other shapes. You can buy Ocean themed ones and have DC finger paint paper with blue paint. Then once it's dry let her stick the Ocean themed stickers onto their water painting.

Contact Paper Idea

Contact paper designs…. Take clear contact paper and let DC stick anything she wants to it (i.e. leaves/grass etc from a walk, glitter, torn up pieces of paper, etc) then cover it up with another sheet of clear contact paper (so the sticky sides are together). Then either punch a hole in it to add a string for hanging or tape it up (great on a window, door, etc).

Making Caterpillars 2

Peyton wanted to race the Caterpillars too!!!!

Bentlie said NO WAY!!!
